Reducing waste in Hong Kong
At Take Out Plastic we believe to effectively combat the “Plastic Bag Culture” Hong Kong needs to severely reduce its overall plastic consumption. We see Take Out Plastic as an instrument to raise public awareness of the harmful overuse of single-use plastic, which right now is extremely lacking.

Our clothing exchange program was established in 2021 by an amazing team of volunteers. Over the years, it has grown to become the largest in Hong Kong, with hundreds of people exchanging over 20,000 garments. This program is an environmentally responsible way to refresh your wardrobe and reduce waste.
We're Community-led
Our movement is all about bringing people together to make a positive change. We organize events, provide resources and information, and work with our community to promote sustainable practices. Together, we can make a difference.
Education & Outreach
Our Education & Outreach initiative aims to raise awareness about the negative impacts of single-use plastic on the environment and promote sustainable solutions. We offer educational resources and workshops for schools, community groups, and individuals.
